Dr Erika Kapp

I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Western Cape, where I head the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. My research focuses on reversing drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, with additional interests in neurodegenerative diseases, and drug metabolism. I hold a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and have experience across public health, hospital, and retail pharmacy. I am actively involved with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as the South African Pharmacy Council in ensuring quality pharmacy education and training.
